Kohler Art Library

The Kohler Art Library collects monographs, periodicals, exhibition and sales catalogues dealing with painting, drawing, architecture, sculpture, graphic arts, and decorative arts. Special collections include artists' books, illuminated manuscript facsimiles, and decorative arts. The library contains a collection of materials, both in English and the vernacular, dealing with art in Russia, the former Soviet Union, and Eastern Europe, numbering in the thousands. Titles include " Art of the Soviets: Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture in a One-party State, 1917-1992," "New light on Central Asian Art and Iconography," "Twentieth-century Russian and East European Painting."
